Develop publishes Scott Jon Siegelâ??s extraordinary MIGS presentation

Why devs should LOVE social games

This week at the Montreal International Game Summit, ex Zynga dev Scott Jon Siegel delivered what is increasingly being described as breakthrough discussion on social gaming.

Siegel, now working for Playdom, is the first man to challenge the widespread view of social games as inherently insipid or evil.

Judging from the reactions fired across Twitter, and at MIGS itself, Siegel’s argument appears to have come off well.

Slides and speech notes can be found below. Be sure to click on ‘full screen’. If you’re reading this from a smartphone then you’ll likely not be able to see anything. Play some social games instead.
