The doors open on MIGS 2010

The 2010 Montréal International Game Summit has opened its doors, and Develop is on the floor in the Canadian city to bring you the latest news from the high-profile gathering of global development talent.

Keynote speakers including former vice president of Microsoft Game Studios Ed Fries and 2D Boy co-founder Ron Carmel are set to take to the stage, as are representatives from Harmonix, Playdom, Square Enix, Bioware and a wealth of other industry stalwarts.

MIGS, which runs throughout Monday and Tueday, is immediately followed by Unity’s own Unite conference, which continues until Friday and includes the 2010 Unity Awards.

With Develop in Montréal for the entire week, you can be sure to check back here for all the news from both events.
