Move support for MAG arrives

Developer Zipper Interactive has confirmed that a patch has been released that introduces full Move compatibility to its PS3 exclusive shooter MAG.

Bringing motion control to key core gamer titles is an important step in Move’s market development, and while MAG was not the biggest seller in Europe it’s still an important feather is PS3’s cap.

The patch also brings with it a host of other new features. These include an increased level cap, a re-worked skill tree and an in-game economy system. The full list of tweaks can be viewed here.

There is so much new content in MAG 2.0 that telling you how important or huge this is for the game, its fans, and for us seems unnecessary,” Zipper Interactive’s Jeremy Dunham stated on the PS Blog. Take one look at the changes listed here and you’ll understand why we’re calling this MAG 2.0.

A big thanks to all of you who have helped us get to this point with your support, your suggestions, and your mad beta testing skills. We hope you have as much fun playing MAG 2.0 as we did making it.”
