E3 2010: Ocarina of Time teased for 3DS

A number of images buried away in a Nintendo press site seem to suggest that the platform holder is working on a handheld 3DS version of the critically celebrated Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Despite its absence from the post-conference hands-on session at E3, Kotaku unearthed a number of images of the mystery game.

Things were further confused later that night. In a roundtable session design legend Shigeru Miyamoto claimed that Ocarina of Time for 3DS exists only as a tech demo, though conceded that it could be made into a full title at some point in the future.

This was seemingly contradicted by Nintendo of America, however, which claimed on Twitter that We’re proud to introduce The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D!”

Either way, a piece of advice for Nintendo – if you’re not already making it, get started right away as fans will now literally never stop asking for it.
