Train2Game launches artist courses

UK training specialist Train2Game has launched two custom courses aimed to improve the skills of aspiring game artists.

The Games Artist and Animator courses, each designed by DR Studios, add to Train2Game’s staple of game design and development courses.

On completion of the courses, enrolled students will be awarded a TIGA-accredited diploma – credentials which are often taken seriously from UK studios, and indeed, TIGA-members.

Successful students will also build up a significant portfolio of work during the course.

“Skilled video games artists are sought very highly as the visual style of a game really influences the gaming experience,” said course director Tony Bickley.

“We are confident that the course will help provide an excellent gateway into the industry.”
