MS slashes 120GB HDD RRP

Microsoft has confirmed that it has slashed 50 off the price of the Xbox 360 120GB hard drive as it tries to clear stock ahead of the arrival of the 250GB SKU on April 16th.

Microsoft has reduced the price of the Xbox 360 120GB Hard Drive to 79.99 while supplies last,” a rep told VG247.

We are now able to offer even more storage for those who wish to store lots of games and entertainment content with the new Xbox 360 250GB Hard Drive.”

The eagle-eyed amongst you, of course, will note that 79.99 is the same price as the upcoming 250GB model will retail for, meaning retailers may well have a tough time selling the 120GB device to the well-informed.
