Pivotal Canadian event set for November, call fr speakers ends March 31

MIGS speaker deadline nears

Preparations are hotting up for the seventh annual MIGS trade event, with event organisers placing a 31 March deadline for its call for speakers.

Last year’s event hosted over 80 talks from companies such as Square Enix, Valve, Maxis and Media Molecule.

Now organisers are looking for their next batch of key industry speakers for the Montreal event, and is also looking to expand its presence into social networks by setting up a new Facebook page.

The event’s advisory body wants is seeking submissions from top level professionals interested in speaking at MIGS within one of the five tracks: Visual Arts, Business, Design, Production and Technology.

The board is particularly interested in speaker proposals on the subject of motion control, digital distribution, process optimisation, advanced animation techniques, new technologies, real-time play metrics, and driving innovation.

MIGS will return on November 8-9 this year.
