Former EA, Papyrus and Hasbro man Ed Martin assumes executive VP of North America role

Eutechnyx hires industry veteran

Eutechnyx has appointed industry veteran Ed Martin as its executive vice president of North America. Part of the driving game specialist’s continued expansion drive, Martin brings experience from EA Sports, where he handled the popular NASCAR franchise.

In an additional previous role as executive producer at Hasbro Interactive, Martin reportedly built a $30 million business, handling half-a-dozen number-one-selling games.

“When it comes to American racing games, Ed Martin is the man,” stated Darren Jobling, COO of Eutechnyx. “His experience and enthusiasm for the sport of competitive racing are absolutely second-to-none, and he’s going to be an invaluable asset to Eutechnyx as we enter into our most exciting year yet.”

"The passion and independence of Eutechnyx are incredibly exciting and certainly unique in the gaming world today,” added Martin. “But this is the heritage of every great gaming company out there, and to me, the core of producing great games and being a great company. I’m thrilled to become part of that team in what will no doubt be a defining year in our history."

In other news, Eutechnyx has confirmed that it will be announcing a new game in May this year.
