New Super Monkey Ball announced

Sega has lifted the lid on a brand new instalment to its popular Monkey Ball franchise – brand new Wii title Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll.



More or less nothing is known of the game as of yet, though the publisher promises fresh information the coming weeks. We do know, however, that it will support the use of the Wii Balance Board.

Super Monkey Ball quickly won a cult following upon its release on GameCube in 2000. It has since gone on to spawn seven further outings, including a version on the iPhone which topped the sales charts upon the debut of the Apple App Store.
