Monster Hunter Gathering Hall opens in July

Capcom will open The Gathering Hall, the UK’s first and only dedicated Monster Hunter gaming centre, this July.

The area will be dedicated to Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, the latest instalment in the long-running PSP RPG series that outsold all other games in Japan last year. The game debuts on June 26th.

The Gathering Hall is part of Capcom’s efforts to recreate such success in the UK, inviting gamers to experience the multiplayer quests with other Monster Hunter fans. PSP owners will be able to download exclusive quests, learn how to play on dedicated tutorial nights and meet the developers.

Situated on London’s Charing Cross Road, the centre will open on Friday, July 3rd at 12pm. It will be open seven days a week and entrance is free for anyone that owns a PSP and a copy of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is a major part of Sony’s ongoing resurgence of the PSP. A new PSP bundle including a copy of the game was recently announced.
