NINTENDO: Super Mario Galaxy 2 announced

Super Mario Galaxy 2 has been announced at Nintendo’s pre-E3 press conference.

It is the fourth Mario game that was shown at the event, and is the sequel to the 2007 smash-hit.

"If you think [those three games] is all the Mario news you can handle, think again,” said Nintendo’s US marketing boss Cammie Dunaway.

This is the first time there’s been two 3D Mario games in one generation.”
