E3 '09: Forza Motorsport 3 to include hi-def movie editor

Turn 10 looking to redefine user-generated content

Turn 10 has shown off Forza Motorsport 3 at this year’s E3 conference – and looks set to push the barriers of user-generated content even further than its predecessor.

Maintaining the hugely popular car customisation mode, Forza 3 also adds a hi-definition video editor, with the ability to share videos online.

While that’s not hugely revolutionary, Turn 10 showed off a movie created with the editor – and it’s no exaggeration to say that it rivalled work by CG outfits like Axis and Realtime:UK in terms of both visual quality and composition.

Forza 3 is set for release this October.
