E3 '09: Studio president Rodriguez says that now 'is better than ever' to relaunch old IP

LucasArts: ‘Well-known IP can stand up in hard times’

LucasArts president Darrell Rodriguez has proclaimed that the current economic climate is a better time than ever to be relaunching back catalogue IP.

"It’s well known IP like Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Monkey Island that can stand up in hard times," said Rodriguez.

"The demographic of active gamers is getting wider and wider. With our IP, we can reach out to older fans who, remember the games and franchises they grew up with as well as new fans discovering them for the first time."

"We are so proud of our heritage and want to share it with fans."
