German AI developer expands overseas presence

Xaitment opens new US office

German AI specialist xaitment has opened a new office in Los Angeles, naming Markus Schneider as head of US operations.

Designed to position the company closer to its American customer-base, xaitment’s expansion outside of Europe means it can offer its services as an AI developer for games and simulation to an increasing number of Stateside clients.

“The US represents a great opportunity for xaitment,” said Dr. Andreas Gerber, group CEO of Xaitment, “and Markus is the ideal person for helping us take advantage of its potential. He possesses a thorough understanding of the game development process and has built great relationships with all the major publishers and developers in the industry. We have utmost confidence that he has the skill and experience to lead our company in the US market.”

Previously, Schneider was employed as xaitment’s executive vice president of sales for Europe and North America. Xaitment continues to focus on it’s core xaitEngine AI technology, which is available as an entire unit or as standalone modules.
