The Godfather II hits UK on March 6th

Electronic Arts has announced that The Godfather II will be released in the UK on March 6th, as well as revealing new in-game content that will be exclusive to anyone who pre-orders the title.

Consumers who pre-order from selected retailers will be given an exclusive crew member to hire into their family. Named Tommy Cipolloa, this arsonist and medic is armed with a superior shotgun to the standard soldiers available in the early stages of the game.

The Godfather II is set in the 1960s and challenges players to think like a Don as they attempt to expand their empire across various US cities by taking down the rival mob families.

As well as staying true to the action gameplay mechanics of the original, the sequel brings in an added level of strategy with the Don’s View, which enables wannabe mobsters to get an overview of their gang’s presence.
