EA slashes UK Rock Band price

EA has cut the price of the full instrument edition of Rock Band – ahead of the game’s sequel’s release in September.

The Instrument Edition of Rock Band will now retail for €139.99 in Europe and 109.99 in the United Kingdom on Xbox 360.

The price will also apply to the new PS3, PS2 and Wii versions of the game, which are released this week.

The news comes months after Rock Band’s controversial release, when the full instrument pack cost UK consumers a whopping 180.

In addition, EA has announced that Rock Band’s full North American library of more than 200 songs is now available in Europe on 360 and PS3.
