Trauma Center returning to DS

After a successful debut on DS and a remake/sequel on Wii, Atlus’ imaginative Trauma Centre franchise is heading back to Nintendo’s handheld,

DSfanboy

reports.

The game, currently dubbed Under the Knife 2, will pick up where the first title left off, and will once again feature the likes of Dr. Stiles, Angie Thompson and the ill-fated GUILT virus.

Developer Atlus hasn’t revealed any details about new surgical instruments, but has said that it will boast improved functionality. It will also be a bit kinder to new players following some complaints regarding the rather harsh difficulty curve of the first game.

Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 is currently pencilled for a summer release in North America, with no word yet on a European release.
