MCV Awards ’08 unveiled

There are 12 weeks until the trade event of the year.

The 2008 MCV Industry Excellence Awards will take place on Thursday April 10th.

By popular demand, they will once again be held at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London – with 17 awards up for grabs.

MCV online and in print is is the leading information resource for games retailers, media, publishers, distributors and more. Everyone reads MCV, from store manager to managing director. That’s why the MCV Industry Excellence Awards are so important,” said MCV publisher Stuart Dinsey.

Winners are voted for by the trade themselves. Our judging system is completely transparent and over 650 attend on the night. There’s not another event like it on the industry calendar.”

Five finalists per award will be revealed on Friday March 7th. Up to 100 named judges then choose the winners.

An in-depth guide to the lobbying procedure will appear online and in print next week.
