Casual Connect Europe West takes place next month

Casual games firms set for Amsterdam conference

Plans are building for February’s Casual Connect Europe West.

Taking place from February 6th to 8th, the event promises to provide further exploration of the casual game sector, with speakers from Google, Microsoft Casual Games group, and the likes of PlayFirst and PopCap providing details on how to succeed in the fast growing category.

Google will be discussing what its advertising initiatives mean for the casual games community, PopCap will discuss the vagaries of portals, while Eidos’ Ian Livingstone will discuss how games can go from online distribution to high street retail. Many other key talks are planned across the three-day event.

Casual Connect Europe is organised by the Casual Games Association. For more details, click here.
