Handheld PES2008 in Q1 08

With the 360, PS3, PS2 and PC versions of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 already enjoying incredible success on the UK High Street, Konami has announced that both the DS and PSP versions of the game will be released some time between January and March next year.

The DS versions looks set to differ from its home console counterparts offering modes such as Exhibition, Penalty Shoot-Out, Konami Cup and a World Tour mode and support for up to four people in multiplayer mode.

The PSP version is more akin to its PS2 cousin, and includes tournaments, leagues and the World Tour mode.
