Dynasty Warriors 6 announced

Koei’s ever-present and globally popular war series Dynasty Warriors is to receive its sixth instalment next year with the announcement that Dynasty Warriors 6 will be released on Xbox 360 and PS3 in Europe on March 7th.

Set in ancient China in the third century, DW6 boasts new characters, new weapons and new fighting styles, all of which have been reproduced using motion-capture. The game has been developed exclusively for next-gen platforms, and boasts adaptable enemy AI.

With a brand new engine that makes the very most of the next-gen consoles and some incredible character animation this is by far the most impressive looking Dynasty Warriors yet” Koei sales manager Will Curley stated.

The detail with which the characters have been created and the numerous new additions should ensure that Dynasty Warriors 6 is a massive leap forward for the series.”
