Fizzysoft’s binary file editor available online

FileCarver 1.2 released

A new version of Fizzysoft’s FileCarver, number 1.2, has been released via the firm’s website.

FileCarver is a developer tool for editing binary files that allows the user to specify the format of an arbitrary binary file ¬– from this it will generate a fully-functional GUI to edit files in the format.

Fizzysoft claims that using FileCarver for creating editors for game-specific binary files provides a huge productivity boost, as creating a fully-fledged file editor is as easy as making a short XML definition of a file format.

More information on FileCarver can be found here.
