THQ and SimBin part company

THQ has confirmed that it will now not be publishing SimBin’s upcoming Xbox 360 title GTR Racing, consumer games portal

is reporting.

GTR, a hardcore racing title, has already enjoyed much success on PC, and THQ was due to publish the Xbox 360 version this Spring.

"THQ and SimBin are no longer working together on the GTR Xbox 360 videogame," a THQ spokesperson told CVG. "Our focus within the racing genre is continuing to build THQ’s internally developed Stuntman, Juiced and MX franchises."

Whether or not THQ’s decision to walk away from the title will have any implications for its long-term future is currently unknown.
