[From the industry] New games marketing event VIVA! launches in London this month

This is a press release posted in addition to our usual editorial content.

A new games marketing event called VIVA! will debut in London later this month.

VIVA! will actually be a brand new series of events, and will focus on a particular topic for each one. The first will cover marketing, and takes place at IDEALondon on February 29, 2024. Analog Events organises the conference. That’s the same team behind Dev Pub Quiz, the Games Growth Summit and Game Dev Heroes.

Its founder Alex Boucher hopes that VIVA! will bring sectors closer together. “I wanted to cover marketing first as this tends to be the department that suffers the most during challenging times for the industry – I think we could all do with some positivity and a networking opportunity for games marketing experts to share insights and battle scars!

Topics include IP, the future of streaming, working with content creators and discussing live events. Companies attending include Xbox, Antstream, Playtonic, Samsung, Player1 Events, Disobey, Fourth Floor, Futurlab, Trailer Farm and Slitherine.

Details on the full agenda and tickets can be found here.
