[Event News] VIVA! Games Marketing returns to tackle the biggest challenges facing games marketers

What does AI mean for games discoverability? Do creator marketing strategies still work? How can developers turn crowdfunding backers into long-term advocates? And what really happens when a game becomes an overnight success?

These are just some of the questions being tackled at VIVA! Games Marketing #4, taking place on Wednesday 18 November 2026.

Bringing together leading voices from across games, marketing, technology and brands, the event will explore the issues currently shaping how games are launched, discovered and marketed.

The packed programme includes Fancensus on games visibility and AI, a practical launch postmortem panel, ICO Partners CEO Thomas Bidaux on crowdfunding, and a discussion on whether creator marketing still works featuring experts from Logitech and Fourth Floor Creative.

The afternoon will look at the increasingly important relationship between brands and games, with speakers including former Red Bull, Charlotte Tilbury and MTV gaming and entertainment executive Sam Wahab, alongside Miai Xbox partnership specialist Scott Zeall and Licensed Ltd’s Paul Bufton.

The event will also tackle IP and AI insurance, managing unexpected success with Slitherine, and the evolving IP challenges facing modern games marketing.

With plenty of opportunities to network throughout the day including networking drinks at the close VIVA! Games Marketing #4 is designed to give developers, publishers, marketers, agencies and industry professionals practical insight, fresh perspectives and valuable connections.
