The Romans wins PlayStation UK PR contract

PlayStation UK has confirmed that PR company The Romans is its new comms agency.

The London outfit won the job after a three-month pitch process. The account will be headed up by associate director Tom Winterton.

Covering both hardware and software, the brief includes running the press press office and overseeing influencer relations, content creation and PR–led experiential activity.

Its immediate concerns will be upcoming titles God of War and standalone release Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

The Romans demonstrated two things very clearly: stand-out creative ideas and the team needed to deliver them,” PlayStation UK head of comms Jo Bartlett said. We’re really excited about the potential of the campaigns they presented at pitch.”

The Romans founders Misha Dhanak and Joe Sinclair added: We’ve built a gaming area in the office next to the beer fridge and cancelled all our evening plans.”
