Games Media Awards returns this October

The Games Media Awards are back for their tenth outing this year, with the event championing the best in writers, presenters and brands in the UK games business.

The GMAs 2016 will take place on Tuesday, October 11th at Sway Bar, London, and nominations for the 10 categories will be welcomed from next week.

Once again, the awards will be judged by individual panels of media experts (bar Journalists’ Journalist), with the categories including:-

– News Writer

– Features Writer

– Games Critic

– Best Coverage by a Newspaper

– Video Team

– Youtuber/Streamer

– Best Coverage by a Mainstream Media Brand

– Radio/Podcast Team

– Rising Star

– Editorial Team of the Year

– Journalists’ Journalist

The event this year will be a more informal affair, rather than a sit-down dinner. Tickets will be priced accordingly at 79, and some 150 media will be invited to attend for free.
