Capcom forms dedicated mobile division, Mega Man and Monster Hunter games on the way

Japanese publisher Capcom has opened a new mobile business division.

The company has announced via its investor relations page that it has ‘intergrated’ mobile games company Beeline Interactive Japan to this end, with the firm being renamed Capcom Mobile Co.

Capcom says this is part of a plan to ‘aggressively release titles utilising its IP’, capitalising on the mobile market. The firm predicts this will be worth $37.4bn by 2019.

In its statement, Capcom says that four mobile games will be coming out before the end of the 2017 fiscal year (March 31st 2017), including titles based on the Monster Hunter and Mega Man IPs.
