PlayStation VR could support PC in the future

Support for the PlayStation VR headset on PC may one day be a reality.

Sony EVP Masayasu Ito was questioned about the potential for the upcoming console-bound VR hardware by Japanese news outlet Nikkei (viaEurogamer).

While making it clear that the PS4 maker has nothing to show for the moment”, Ito revealed that because of the shared foundation of the console with PC, there is technically little stopping the headset joining the likes of the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive on the platform.

"The possibility exists since the PlayStation 4 shares many of its parts with the PC," he suggested.
