Minecraft streamer buys $4.5m property in Hollywood – report

Popular Youtube content creator Jordan CaptainSparklez” Maron has reportedly purchased a $4.5m house in the Hollywood Hills.

Variety reports the Minecraft-focused streamer has chosen a plot not far away from the Beverly Hills’ mansion Minecraft creator Notch purchased for a record $70m in December of last year.

Maron’s YouTube channel has nearly 9m subscribers and his videos have been viewed nearly 2bn times on the video-sharing network. His Twitch channel also boasts more than 1.2m subs.

Fellow Youtube star PewDiePie brought in $7.45m in 2014, and is currently closing in on 40m subscribers.
