Until Dawn was YouTube’s top August game

PS4 horror title Until Dawn has been named as the ‘hottest’ game on YouTube in July.

As reported by Kotaku, YouTube defines ‘hotness’ by combining both video watch time and uploads.

Supermassive’s title was helped no doubt by the attention it was given by big names such as PewDiePie and Markiplier.

Other titles to fare well included Call of Duty: Black Ops III, the beta for which recently went live, as well as smartphone hit Pac-Man 256, time-bending shooter Superhot and Metal Gear Solid V, despite the fact that wasn’t officially released until last week.
