UK studio Creative Assembly developing Halo Wars 2

UK studio Creative Assembly is leading development on strategy game Halo Wars 2.

The studio takes the reins from original Halo Wars developers Ensemble Studios and Robot Entertainment. That game was released on Xbox 360 in 2009.

Halo Wars 2 will be released in Autumn 2016 on Xbox One and Windows 10.

Details are light on the release, but it seems Creative Assembly will be working with 343 Industries on the title. The studio has many years’ experience in strategy games, having worked on the popular Total War series.
