Kixeye hit with unspecified number of layoffs – report

An unconfirmed number of employees at online game company Kixeye are reportedly out of the job.

A brief from Gamasutra confirmed the news with a source involved with the cuts,” and points to multiple and job opportunity and condolence posts from other game company’s on Twitter over the past day as well.

The firm – best known for its strategy titles War Commander and Vega Conflict – also endured major layoffs this past January.

The San Francisco-based studio opened up a branch in Portlandjust 18 months ago, and has international offices inBrisbane and Victoria– though without a statement from Kixeye, it’s unclear which offices have been affected by the latest round of cuts.
