Who will be named Publishing Hero at the Develop Awards next week?

Just one week remains until the Develop Awards, which honours the best companies that the game development sector has to offer.

We will also find out which firm our panel of judges has deemed the best publisher with eight companies vying for this prize.

505 Games, Chillingo, Curve, Deep Silver, Greenshoots, Team17, SCEE Strategic Content and Square Enix are all up for the prestigious Publishing Hero award this year.

This year’s Develop Awards ceremony will be once again held at the Brighton Hilton Metropole on Wednesday, July 15th. It runs alongside the Develop: Brighton conference, organised by Tandem Events.

There are 137 companies in the running for this year’s awards, across a revamped roster of 20 categories. You canfind the full list of finalists here.
