Project X Zone 2 Western launch pushed to 2016

3DS Japanese fighting/RPG crossover title Project X Zone 2 has been delayed until 2016.

The delay only applies to the European and American launches; the title will still be hitting its 2015 release date in Japan. In the West it is penciled in for an ‘early 2016’ release.

Project X Zone 2 was set for an autumn 2015 release in the West.

The game sees fighters from Bandai Namco, Capcom and Sega series duking it out. It stars characters from Capcom’s Resident Evil, Devil May Cry and Mega Man frachises, Bandai Namco’s Tekken and God Eater, as well as Sega’s Yakuza and Virtua Fighter franchises.

The first Project X Zone title launched in the West in 2013.
