Halo composer forms new studio with ex-Bungie and Airtight Games staff

Halo composer Marty O’Donnell has formed a new development studio dubbed Highwire Games with Airtight Games co-founder Jared Noftle and former Bungie designer Jaime Griesemer.

VG247reports O’Donnell revealed the news earlier this week, encouraging fans to stay tuned for more information.”

Some additional digging on the company’s website and Linkedin profile shows the Seattle-based studio was actually formed in 2014. Highwire plans to apply its expertise to new platforms, creating new experiences and reaching new audiences,” and will aim to specialize in games, virtual reality, consoles, and game design.

O’Donnell and his former employer Bungie made news last year in a messy breakup thatconcludedwith the developer and the composer settling to the tune of $95,000 in unpaid work, vacation time and damages.
