EA: Minions Paradise is another Despicable Me mobile game

Ultra-popular kids franchise Despicable Me is getting another mobile spin-off.

Minions Paradise is based on the titular yellow creatures, and will see them working together on an island after crashing a ship in order to survive.

There’s item crafting and other activities such as fishing, water slides and exploration.

EA also described the gameplay as ‘open’, suggesting that players would be able to do whatever they like while commanding their army of minions.

From the looks of the twin counters in the top right of the gameplay footage shown on-stage at E3’s press conference, there will likely be in-game purchases and timers, although these were not detailed.
