Limbo dev Playdead delays Inside

The next game from the makers of indie hit Limbo will not be hitting its early 2015” release date.

Playdead’s Inside was announced by Microsoft at E3 last year but has actually been in development since 2010. The game was due to hit Xbox One this year.

"Last year we announced that Inside would be out in early 2015. It’s not!" the studio told IGN. "After five years in development, we, more than anyone, are looking forward to the release. We are so close, but getting it right has taken a little more time than we anticipated."

There’s no indication as of yet regarding when the game is expected to arrive.

Limbo, the developer’s first title, was released on Xbox 360 in 2010. The game went on to release on many more platforms, winning a host of awards in the process.
