MCV/DEVELOP’s 30 Under 30 – 2026

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2026 MCV/DEVELOP “30 Under 30”, which will be given the spotlight as part of MCV/DEVELOP #1012, appearing Jan 2027.

Nominations are open to anyone involved in the UK video games industry who will remain under the age of 30 as of December 31, 2026. That’s developers, publishers, platform holders, retailers, distributors, media, and other supporting roles. To nominate yourself or eligible colleagues, simply send the required info (AND NOTHING MORE!) to mcvmatt@datateam.co.uk

SUBJECT LINE MUST BE: “30 Under 30”

What we need: Your nominee’s name, DOB, email address, job title, employer name, a LinkedIn profile link, a photo, and a supporting statement of NO MORE THAN 300 WORDS. If you’re nominating someone else, we’ll also need your name and contact details.

Nominations must be submitted before midday UK time on Friday, November 27, 2026.

What makes a successful nomination?

Firstly, FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS! You may be fantastic, but your nomination must include all the elements we request to even be considered. Beyond that, we recommend that you make sure that your LinkedIn page is fully updated and includes all the necessary details, as it’s the easiest way for us to check a public record of your career to date. We are mainly looking for nominees who have spent some years in the industry and can demonstrate their excellence and progression within it.

To be eligible, nominees must be under the age of 30 on December 31, 2026. They also can’t have appeared on any of our 30 Under 30 lists before. If they’ve had an honourable mention in a previous 30 Under 30 list, they’re still eligible.

Our judges will remain anonymous.
