YouTube signs Geoff Keighley for E3 livestream

Former Spike Video Game Awards host Geoff Keighley will be the face of YouTube’s extensive live coverage of E3 later this month.

Keighley will front a 12-hour stream on June 15th.

YouTube has for years partnered with gaming’s largest media outlets to provide coverage of the expo, but this year it will add its own branded programming to the mix. A number of known YouTubers will join Keighley in its shows.

VentureBeat reports that YouTube will also livestream the Besthesda conference and the Nintendo World Championships. It will also have an E3 booth hosted by RoosterTeeth.

Keighley quit his long-term role as the presenter of the festive Spike awards last year to launch his own show, The Video Game Awards.
