Post-GDC briefing will give British studios the chance to learn more about Unreal Engine

Epic Games hosting free UK event next week

Epic Games will host a special event in London next that is aimed at studios that were unable to attend this week’s Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.

The post-GDC briefing will be structured around a panel discussion, where Epic’s Mike Gamble (pictured) will be joined by Microsoft’s Agostino Simonetta, Ninja Theory’s Dominic Matthews and Deco Digital’s Joe Brammer.

The discussion won’t just be about Epic’s Unreal Engine – which is now free to everyone – but also touch on the biggest trends and developments from this year’s GDC. There will also be a Q&A with the speakers.

Epic will also announce a new challenge it has created in association with the Wellcome Trust.

The briefing begins at 11am on Friday, March 13th, and will be held at Shoreditch House in London.

While the event is free, places are limited to three seats per company and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

You can reserve a place at Epic’s Eventbrite page
