Release date set for PlayStation TV exclusive Powers

PlayStation’s first original TV series, Powers, will hit PSN in March.

The first three episodes, released on March 10th, will be free to all PSN members, while the remaining seven episodes will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers, with a new one arriving every Tuesday.

The series had originally been scheduled for December.

As I sift through different cuts of the episodes and the raw footage, I’ve been hearing from our cast on the set about how much fun everyone has been having,” executive producer Brian Michael Bendis said. They battled the Atlanta weather and the flu and they pulled together and really gave it their all.”

Powers, which is based on an ongoing comic series of the same name, is fronted by District 9 star Shalto Copley and also features Eddie Izzard.
