Monument Valley has made nearly $6m

Uk developer UsTwo has revealed that revenues generated by Monument Valley have hit $5.8m.

That’s four times more than the $1.4m it cost to develop both the original game and its Forgotten Shores expansion which, incidentally, racked up 575,608 sales, accounting for 1 in 5 Monument Valley players.

Total sales of the original game comes to 2.4m – meaning it has shiftedanother 1m copies since November– with 1.7m on iOS. 38 per cent of those sales came from the United States – leaps and bounds ahead of the next highest country, China at 12 per cent.
