EA DICE to leave ten year-old Stockholm HQ

Mirror’s Edge studio EA DICE is relocating, and in doing so leaving the Stockholm building that has been the team’s home for close to ten years.

The move was revealed byGamesIndustry, which reports that DICE will transfer both its games development and Frostbite engine divisions to a new base in Stockholm’s Sodermalm district, joining the EA Nordic operations team.

EA Studios EVP Patrick Soderlund told the site the move was prompted by ongoing growth from DICE. In fact, some of the developer’s teams had expanded so much that some members were working out of separate facilities nearby.
