Telltale confirms Game of Thrones will launch this year

Telltale’s Game of Thrones is still due out before the end of 2014, the developer has confirmed.

While fielding questions from fans on Twitter, Telltale community and PR specialist Laura Perusco stated that the episodic adventure game based on the works of George R.R. Martin and HBO’s related television program would kickoff prior to year’s end.

"The season IS premiering later this year," Perusco said.

Telltale has promoted the upcoming title over the past several months with vague hints and teases as to what portions of Martin’s world the game will delve into.

No official dates have been officially announced as of yet, but the game is in development for PS3, Xbox 360, Windows PC and Mac.
