PlayStation TV’s European release date confirmed

Sony has confirmed a price and date for its streaming media box PlayStation TV in Europe.

The device will be released on November 14th and cost 84.99/€99.99 and from day one hundreds of Vita, PSP, PSOne and Minis titles will be offered, with regular expansion promised – and Minecraft specifically name-dropped.

In the box will be a voucher for three titles – OlliOlli, Velocity Ultra and Worms Revolution Extreme. The unit itself comes with 1GB of memory. Launch day games include Hotline Miami, Persona 4 Golden, God of War Collection, Tomb Raider, Rayman Origins and Metal Gear Solid.

PS4 owners will be able to stream their console via PlayStation TV, effectively allowing it to be played on any TV in the house. A number of Vita games, meanwhile, can be played simply by plugging them directly into the unit.

PS TV is compatible with both PS3’s DualShock 3 andPS4’s DualShock 4 controllers.
