Xbox One launches to half the sales of Xbox 360 in Japan

The Japanese launch of Xbox One has failed to match the numbers seen when the Xbox 360 launched back in 2005.

Famitsu numbers reveal that the console sold 23,562 units in its first four days on sale. That’s actually less than half the 60k the Xbox 360 sold in its first two days in the region and well down on the original Xbox’s 120k week one sales.

For comparison, PS4 sold 322k in its first two days and while Wii U sold 308k.

Titanfall was the best selling Xbox One title followed by Kinect Sports Rivals and Dead Rising 3.
