Street Fighter Monopoly Collector’s Edition arrives

A new special edition Street Fighter-themed Monopoly set is available now from retailer Funstock.

The Street Fighter Monopoly Board Game – Official Collector’s Limited Edition is in stock and available to order now from the UK games store for 29.99.

This isn’t the first Monopoly board to bear the Street Fighter name, but it does differ a bit from Monopoly maker USAopoly’s 2012 release.

The latest edition packs stages from the Street Fighter games, Bison Dollars, and dojos instead of hotels to build on properties. Game pieces include M. Bison, Ryu, Blanka, Vega’s mask, Chun-Li’s wrist cuff and the Hadouken fireball.

The release is the latest in a rash of new Monopoly sets featuring video game franchises, with Legend of Zelda and Assassin’s Creed boards having just been announced earlier this month from USAopoly.
