Monopoly Legend of Zelda edition arrives next month

Monopoly publisher USAopoly is creating a special Legend of Zelda-themed edition of the tabletop game set to release in September.

GameStop is currently taking pre-orders for the customized board game, offering exclusive bonuses for those who do.

The package includes a standard Monopoly board altered to include locations and characters from the Zelda franchise. The Triforce, Bow, Hookshot, Boomerang and Hylian Shield have replaced the game’s standard tokens, and the monopoly money has been converted to rupees as well.

GameStop pre-order customers will also receive an Ocarina of Time token, in addition to six Power Cards for added game play.”

The North American retailer’s product page lists a September 15th US launch for the game, no word on an international release as of yet.
