Killer Instinct: Season 2 arrives on Xbox One in October

The second season of Killer Instinct will begin in October, developer Iron Galaxy has revealed.

The initial release will include two new fighters – TJ Combo and Maya – along with some interface changes to the game. Six additional fighters will arrive after that, with one arriving each month.

KI: Season 2 will be offered in two bundle packages, though characters can alternatively be purchased individually for $4.99 each.

The Combo Breaker Pack includes the aforementioned characters for $19.99, while the Ultra Edition boasts extra costumes and the previously reported Killer Instinct 2 Classic for $39.99.

Those who purchase the Killer Instinct retail compilation featuring all of the Season 1 combatants will gain early access to TJ Combo as well.

Killer Instinct: Season 2 kicks off on October 15th.
